Impossible,  she is only a teenager as so am I .

I remember watching her in the Miracle Worker for the very first time - she was just a bit older than I, so I really identified with her when I watched that performance. Very sad to read of her passing.

Isn't that the truth about so many of our contemporaries who have passed recently?  I'm really starting to feel my own mortality.

I  hadn't even looked at news yet.... What an extraordinary woman, and what a life! 

Oh yikes! Are more celebs going faster this year, or am I at this age where contemporaries start dropping?

You could lose your mind . . . 

She was a good actress.  She survived some bad stuff when she was a child star living with her agents.  She was very public about how her adult life got better after she was diagnosed with and treated for bipolar disorder. She hoped her story would help others.  She made a real contribution in her life.  RIP Patty Duke.  You acquitted yourself well.
