I have limestone in my kitchen and second bath, in the kitchen we used thunder which is darker with a green undertone, in the bathroom I used tapestry beige, the tapestry beige is very subtle so it let's the tile speak vs the wall color tried to capture in picture didn't really come through, it much lighter
We did our entire first floor in Benjamin Moore ice formations and Alaskan skies. One is just slightly darker than the other Very putty-ish. Not grey. Not beige. I love them
We had great results with Ben-Moore Smokey Taupe. Lots of white trim/wainscot. Dark cherry colored vanity with whitish counter top. Fixtures and stuff are a mix of oiled bronze and brushed nickel. Tile is a little lighter than yours. COme bay if you want a peek. PM me.
Can you bring it back? Happy to give you a shot of mine. Also have a ton of other samples if you're still hunting around and I happen to have the color....
I am inclined to agree with FFOF, although I would probably go with more of a slate blue. Are those your actual tiles, or something else you happened to have a photo of? I wasn't sure, going by the text in that post, where you said "kind of like this." Just how much like that photo are your actual tiles?
Hi there: this is my first post. I'm a professional painting contractor and I've used almost all the paint colors suggested in these comments - and they're all good suggestions. Paint color selection is definitely a subjective thing - it's dependent on your preferences. But with a million colors to choose from it can be very difficult. I think the fact that you're putting a lot of effort into it is a good move. I know an interior designer who can - over the internet - help you pick a color for a very low one-time fee. She is really, really good with color. Better than me, even. I always refer color-concerned customers to her. I won't promote her or use this forum for advertising but if you'd like her contact information I can give it to you - just send me an email. Also, there is an app for your smartphone that allows you take a picture (say, of your tile) and will present you with a palette of complimentary colors. Good luck with the color selection and the painting process. If I can help in any way don't hesitate to send me an email. Sincerely, Richard CraftPro Home Improvements rjd@craftprocontracting.com

I think I went wrong trying to match the warmer yellow-brown tones in the tile, which also contains some white and some cool gray. Kind of like this:
