Old-Timers Day

Just began search for Yankee Old-Timers Day tix. Date seems to be Saturday, 6/20, but at 7:15PM. Does that make sense? I don't recall ever seeing an OTD game that was not in the afternoon. They seem to be piggybacking the Willie Randolph plaque ceremony on top of this, which means the game might get underway by 9, if we're lucky. Am I missing something here?

denniss, yes, the official game starts at 7:15PM, and yes, that's a little unusual. From what I have heard, the Old Timers' Day festivities are starting at 4PM, with the gates opening at 3PM, but it might be wise to confirm these times closer to the event. Feel free to PM me with additional questions.

One look at the Yankee roster should tell you that the 7:15 game is the Old-timers game

Thanks for your constructive response.

Sbenois...I hear they may be bringing back other former employees from the '70's...you may be in luck, even in your consistently disgruntled former employee state.

denniss, here's the official news release about Old Timers Day, including the schedule (I was correct about the gate opening time, the start time for the Old Timers Day festivities, and the start time of the official game), and the expected attendees:
