NJ Transit to resume partial service in Hoboken on Monday

Not sure which lines or the frequency of trains, but worth investigating if you were depending on the trains to Hoboken to get to and from work.

HOBOKEN, N.J. — A portion of Hoboken Terminal will reopen to commuter rail service Monday, more than a week after a rush-hour train barreled into the station, killing a commuter standing on the platform and injuring more than 100 others.
New Jersey Transit made the announcement Friday, saying cross-honoring will continue only on Hudson-Bergen Light Rail, NJ Transit bus and private carriers.
The entire historic terminal was cordoned off following the Sept. 29 crash because of “extensive damage.”
The following lines will return to a weekday schedule into and out of Hoboken starting Monday, with some adjustments:
Main/Bergen County
Pascack Valley
Port Jervis
Certain express trains won’t be running and other trains will be combined. Specific details about which trains will be affected can be found at NJTransit.com after 10 p.m. Friday, the agency said.
Other service changes include:
Trains on the Montclair-Boonton line originating west of Montclair State University, including from Denville, will operate into Hoboken with added stops east of the university
Most Gladstone Branch trains to Hoboken will be restored
North Jersey Coast and Raritan Valley line trains scheduled to terminate in Hoboken will continue to terminate at Newark Penn Station
Riders are told to expect crowded trains and delays while service slowly returns to normal.
