Congrats to the winners and let's look forward to them doing what is best for the town.
And a big, big thanks to Jerry Ryan for his many years of service to Maplewood. Let's hope that he stays deeply involved in helping to move this community forward.
Regardless of how anyone voted in this election, Jerry Ryan deserves great respect from all.

Well said, as usual.
Well, at least we'll still be able to enjoy visiting the new Post House development sometime next year.
Thanks Jerry for your years and years of valuable service to our town. We can only hope that the winners prove to be as good as you were.
And, of course, congratulations to the winners.
Well-said.

Maybe they will call it the Jerry Ryan Building.
Perhaps the Post Jerry Ryan Building... I personally think Jerry has done a great job over the years and am sad to see him go.

Having one's name attached to the impending architectural mishap may not be much of an honor.
Best. Idea. Ever.

The Township Committee has lost a wise leader and gained two capable members who are dedicated to our community. Maplewood's government remains in good hands.
Thanks, Jerry, and congratulations, Greg and Nancy.
Politically, this election proves the maxim that if you allow your opponent to define you and your record, the chances are good that you will lose.
It also proves that if you give out 1,000 amazing cookies you will win. Note to all future candidates, Able Baker is your friend

Makes sense to me. I am an Able Baker addict.
Mr. Profetta..............I am not sure why ctzraska spit out his coffee but I know you crack me up.
On the serious side..........there is still much work to be done.

Always a good idea. You cannot slay dragons if you can't lift your sword. Me too.
The election results show that the sentiments of the MOL attack dogs do not necessarily reflect the sentiments of the community. This is good.
Congratulations Nancy and Greg. I hope you find the challenge as fulfilling as I did. Watch your backs.
Gerry, Thank you for your service to the community I still call home.

Attack dogs????
The conclusion I draw is that the town wants new blood on the TC. But with nearly identical votes for essentially a pro-development and anti-development candidate it seems the township may still be deeply divided on those issues. I'm not sure what effect that will have on swaying the votes of the rest of the TC. Time will tell. I just hope all the angry people can start to act a little nicer and respectful to each other now.

Time for a little vacation first Author.
Some open air? Or maybe a quaint medieval town with water running through? Bruges perhaps?
To quote a really bad TV show, "The tribe has spoken."
Being a member of the TC is a tough and thankless job. Thank you to all.
I agree with one of the previous posters that this is a mandate for "new blood" on the TC
