Nice! I think our native-species only woodland yard (except for one volunteer Japanese Maple - seriously) would make them happy!


speaking of smart lawns, i planted clover this spring and didn't have to mow the lawn all season smile woohoo! oh and I let my leaves stay until last collection, that's when I rake them ...

We also used the micro-clover seed.

Love it, better than the moss that used to grow in shady areas.


Thanks! I already found a few new possibilities for the shady sections of our yard. Plan on trying the clover next year.
