New live stream app for Maplewoodstock

Hey everybody, one of our sponsors for this year's Festival is a new live-streaming app call BUSKER.   It allows for "tipping" and direct monetary support during broadcast.   Please join us there, spread the love, and download + follow us there.   We will be live-streaming the Festival via this app for viewers and Maplewoodians who cannot make it there.  Hang with us.  Download busker.co and "tune in".

it's a very cool app for musicians and artists to finally get paid. I know a couple of musicians made over $1000 in its first couple of weeks. If this app scales , it could be a game changer. Wish it was around when I used to put together shows.

Hope the Android version comes soon....

They have android in beta apparently at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1VNo1ngQr6L78DsXPDPP80YKAUIeMcHw9rTswxgixY5E/viewform

BUSKER has just launched and will be the new go-to streaming App for anyone who wants to live stream video.  They are supporting MAPLEWOODSTOCK which is GREAT...all we need to do as a community is people to 1) download the App (Busker), and 2) help Maplewoodstock by volunteering 30 minutes of your time to video one of the bands.  To help us out, PLEASE email me tlearned@gmail.com

Sounds awesome. Is that Torpey's new app?

Can this be downloaded to a Mac?

If volunteers are being asked to livestream on their own devices, will there be wi-fi available?   Otherwise it seems live streaming video  would eat up their data plans fairly quickly.

Not at this time. Watch and broadcast only on phone.

I think desktop  its on its way though, but prob not for this weekend.

S**t! you can only get this ap if you are in the US!  That sucks.  Why would you demand a US phone to send a text with the link to the ap.  I am so disappointed.   cool hmm  question  question

What would it take to get WiFi for the next Maplewoodstock?

if you have Comcast Xfinity as your internet provider, there is a wi-fi hot spot in Memorial Park that you can us.

Yes, but many of us don't.  I meant a temporary hotspot for everyone at the festival ... until such time as there is town-wide WiFi.  (I think that's coming at some point, but not sure when.)

Know that you can still download busker (at www.busker.co) and see the videos from maplewoodstock!!

maplewoodstock account is being featured at busker.co app- some cool videos from the festival there from the show.
