Need vet who does cat grooming with sedation

Looking for a local vet who does cat grooming with sedation.

Are you absolutely certain your cat needs to be sedated? It may seem a silly question, but I thought the same thing about my cat and it turned out I brought him to Puppy Love and it went extremely well. I did that route too with sedation and the grooming looked terrible and he looked half done.

Summit dog & cat hospital does this.

(And yes, sedation was necessary ... my long haired lovely boy is a mushy sweetheart but when he goes to the vet ... He remembers that he used to be a feral. grin puppy love would not work on him and said that I may not bring him back. No hard feelings, I love Puppy Love and they do a great job on my dog. My cat is a monster when he needs to be.

I know some cats have that Jekyl/Hyde thing. I guess I got very lucky when I tried it. I thought he would freak with the dogs, but he didn't. He looked so cute with the lion cut. I am trying to brush him more so he doesn't need to go back but he will need that soon. Did you get your whole cat shaved @CLK ?

Yes. He looked like a DSH when he was done. I only did it once when the mats got away from me. His mats turn into concrete if I skip more than one day of combing at certain times of year, and it is very difficult to get him back in shape. They did a good job, and I would go there again if I needed to.

Would the cat be okay with a mobile groomer coming to your home?
