need recommendations for a 'handyman' for small job - reliable, capable, reasonable

We have a heavy mirrored closet door that needs to be rehung/whose hinges need to be replaced.  Any recommendations for a capable, reliable, reasonable handyman?  Thanks!

Hinges are rarely the  problem.

  • Likely the weight of the mirror caused screws in the hinges to work loose.
  • Less likely, door was opened too wide, twisting the hinges.

This requires either larger screws, or wood splinters in the screw holes to allow screws a better grip.  There is also a new kit on the market, where you put a metal mesh into the screw holes to compensate for worn out bores.

I can take a look for you (no promises till I see the actual situation).  I will send you a PM with rates.
