Need recommendation for pond open to public with lifeguard on duty

We are looking for a natural pond with a beach and lifeguard on duty for a school trip at the end of June. Is there anything that meets these criteria?

TIA

I don't know that it qualifies as a pond, but Spruce Run is a nice lake with a lifeguarded beach.

Sunrise Lake in Mendham.

Lakes are fine, I wrote pond to mean we don't want the ocean or a man made pool.

Thank you for the suggestions!

Round Valley has a nice beach too, but it's likely to be cold in the middle of June.

This is pretty perfect w/ little kids.  Bathrooms, snacks, paddle boats & beach but fairly small and contained.  The kids can also "fish" or crab/frog hunt.

Crowded on summer weekends, so if you can do weekdays it's probably nicer.

This is actually for an end of year school trip, so it would be mid week. The age range is 5-16.

Round Valley, as mentioned, and Spruce Run.  Both state parks are a bit of oa drive up I-78- well worth the trip.  Both have nice beaches, picnic tables and some hiking.

I know Spruce Run had some watercraft rentals available- you'd need to check it out.

In that case, the bigger sites (like Round Valley or Spruce Run) might be preferable.

I don't have a head count, but I am guessing it wouldn't be more than 25 students, not sure the total number including staff and family members.

Sunrise Lake is in Lewis Morris Park, which is a Morris County park, so probably open to public though you might have to check to be sure groups are accommodated. It is a very pleasant setting and quite close and convenient to get to.

Noe Pond is a private club in Chatham - perhaps they would allow your class?

Sunrise lake would be good, but some years the water has pretty gross.  One year we renamed it "goose poop lake".

Swartswood State Park in Stillwater, Sussex County. Not sure what it is like  but Lake Hopatcong too.

Years ago I was a counselor at a camp that took campers to swim at Darlington County Park in Mahwah.  It was excellent.

Yep, lakes are gonna be pretty cold in June.
