Need a vague idea for buying a home

Could anyone who has recently done any of these give me a rough idea of the costs involved

Radon Test

Search for an Oil tank?

Sewer pipe inspection

Home inspection

Check the electrics by qualified electrician.

Oil tank sweep $275.

Radon test included in home inspection, which varies between a home and townhouse (our townhouse inspection was $400).

Home inspection is about $450

Inspectors seem to often recommend a separate ("higher level") chimney inspection, which is another few hundred dollars (I think ours was $350, but I could be off by a bit).

We did not have a separate sewer or electric inspection (I'm sure there are situations which call for it, but not in our case).

The Radon test is usually done as part of the home inspection. Costs for home inspection can vary, based on size of home, scope of inspection etc. I would recommend you reach out to some inspectors and talk to them about the scope of their work and their cost.
