Someone recently posted that putting their litter box outside will draw them back by scent. Have you posted on Next Door?
If missing for less than a day then I would also search inside the house. I remember when one of my mother's cats went missing and we thought she escaped. Later a closet door was opened to retrieve something and there she was, silently swishing her tail in annoyance that we hadn't thought to let her out earlier
Is that the same cat that caught under the newly installed bath tub?
Unless you have actually seen the cat go outside, I would suggest checking the house thoroughly to make sure the cat is not trapped inside some closed drawer, cabinet, closet, room, etc. from which the cat cannot escape on its own. Imagination is often needed here. Mine, for example, likes to sleep inside one of the recliners only to get trapped when the recliner is placed in the upright position with the cat still inside.
Many thanks to Ramone our next door neighbor. Thanks to his watchfull eye Yeti is safe at home!
Great news!

Our cat Yeti is missing! He must have gotten out of the house because the back door was open for a bit. He is not an outdoor cat. He is a big fluffy white cat. We live on Parker in Maplewood between Union and Hudson. If you see him please PM me. Thank you.
