What a mess last night huge parts of Springfield, Union and environs were basically a parking lot. Meisel was closed and really mucked up the commute around 6pm last night.

We went down Meisel around then, a bit after 6, and it had been reopened, but it was impressive to see all of the drainage basins and low-lying playing fields flooded as the river was well out of its banks. We kept going since there were about six cars worth of police keeping an eye on things and helping make sure storm drains were clear. The road was clear, but little else was.
