MetLife Stadium

Going to Giants Game tonight and trying to decide whether to take the train or drive.  I have taken the train to Sunday games but never a Monday night game.   Any opinions?  What train should we take to get there in time but not have to sit for an hour before the game, and do they put extra trains going back from Secaucus to Maplewood because of the game?

Any advice is appreciated.

Do you have a parking pass?  If not, driving is not an option.  If you do, drive.  For an 8:30 start if you leave Maplewood at 7 pm you will get there no problem and all of the tailgaters who had been taking up extra spots will be closing up shop allowing you to sneak in and park nice and close.

"Uber is the official rideshare partner of MetLife Stadium"

I drive to secaucus and take the train from there --- because they do not run extra trains to SOMA or anywhere else.  Sometimes I have to wait for one train from the stadium but normally home within an hour after the game.

Thank you everyone. I don't have parking pass so  I think we will take the train there and grab an uber from Secaucus coming home, unless it looks like we can catch a train back to Maplewood without waiting an hour for next train.

we just decided not to use our Giants tixx or parking pass for tonight. Any takers? Free!

Everyone enjoy the halftime celebrating honoring the 2007 Super Bowl squad. Hoping that they show it on the broadcast but doubt they will. Commercials are king!

Have to love this town and Mayor Deluca.  I text him about the trains going to Secaucus and he offered to let us catch a ride with him.

As a Jets fan.... I still thought the halftime was a nice tribute to those guys.

Got to meet and take pictures with Chris Snee too.  Overall a nice night out with my youngest son.

Eric, I'm glad you had a good time and all, but instead of sitting in the stands, you should have been on the offensive line where we needed you (and Snee too!)

I told Snee they needed him out there and he said "Yeah for 1 play".  Apparently his hips were giving him problems, plus he lost so much weight I doubt he would have been able to hold  anyone back.

Yes I did.  Did you get to keep your title after I left?  I put a good word in for you.
