Maplewood Spring Rake Out Schedule 2016

Posting this early from the Maplewood Town website DPW dept. for those of us who like to plan - put the dates on your calendar now!  These dates listed are a "free" town service in Maplewood.  

AFTER that time (last pick up date), you need to set up garden debris pick up with your trash hauler for a FEE for the remainder of the summer into the fall.

NO limitation on branch diameter (unlike in SO, where 4 inch max allowed). 

And "Rake Out" can begin NOW ("Spring" aside - I saw honeybees at work, collecting, today - from galanthus) Unlike in SO, where it's illegal until sometime in April.  No early date restriction mentioned on the official Maplewood link you provided, cats.  Unlike  MPD 2016 Leaf collection, for which 1st permissible date for rake out IS specified.

But cannot Maplewood residents drop off garden debris at MPD DPW year round (like in SO)?

And If not, why not?

Don't you have to wait until the dates in the schedule to put stuff out on the curb?

Yes, I believe you can only put the garden debris out front on your specified day (night before).
