Maplewood Recycling 2025
Three of the "exception" holidays: New Years (Wednesday), Memorial Day (Monday), and Labor Day (Monday) fall on a Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday in 2025 and in the case of the two that fall on Monday, impact pick-up dates for the entire week. Wouldn't it be less confusing to just list the correct pick-up dates in the schedule?

I'm pretty sure it only impacts the pickup for that holiday day, not the whole week. The posted flyer certainly doesn't say that all following days are also shifted. (I do recall that there was a badly worded email from the town last year that impied that, but I thought it was amended later.)
Speaking of holidays - We see that MLK day is not a recycling holiday. But, past experience gives a strong chance that the weather may cause a delay for those of us with Monday pickups. I guess we just put it out and wait to see what happens?

Actually, especially in the case of missed Monday pick-up, it can impact the whole week with pick up day for each sector, at least in Maplewood, moved back one day. However, my point is that if the town knows at the start of the year that some dates are going to be different from those on the printed schedule, they should indicate the correct date on the schedule to begin with.
