Litter /trash rant

SO sick of this!!! I can understand [barely] kids picking a flower or two, maybe to give to a romantic interest? but this ENDLESS dropping of TRASH on the street, sidewalks and gardens truly makes me sick. And judging by the timing I can only conclude it is left by students or people who drop off or retrieve their charges. Do parents never bother to instruct their children that littering is disgusting? Come on people, we live in a beautiful town in the Garden State. Lets keep it beautiful.

I agree with you 100% We live on a street that leads down to Memorial Park. Every time there's a big event at the park and people park on our street (4th of July, Maplewoodstock, etc) there's litter on the sidewalks, soda bottles and cans stuck into our hedges.....It's very annoying. Take the trash back to your own cars and toss it at home, people!

Agreed. I'm livid when I drive onto/off from an exit on a highway, especially Rt. 78. Disgusting. And, I'm sure it's mostly adults doing this.
