What's an "overachieving PCer," anyway? Someone who feels that violence against women is not something about which to make stupid jokes (or videos)? Guilty as charged.

I have an out of state relative who is the world's worst nagger, criticizer, and back seat driver. Many of us have had the fantasy of doing the same.

I don't remember the "anti-male" joke you refer to, but I'm damn sure it wasn't anywhere near as harsh as suggesting that nagging wives are well served by taping their mouths shut and putting them in the trunk of a car for a drive across the desert.

I'm really troubled by your failure to see that this wasn't funny or acceptable.

Totally agree. This could have passed for funny 30 years ago. Now it is offensive.
