Link for BOE meeting 8/17/15 agenda needed. TIA

Does anyone here get the email from Schoolboard.net with the SOMSD BOE meeting agendas? It usually gets sent out the Friday before the meeting. Mine gets sent to my district email... Which has been down all day. If you have the link for the 8/17/15 meeting, please send it To me via the MOL private message feature. TIA.

I thought I heard that the meeting had been switched to 8/24.

I hadn't heard, and it wasn't changed on the list of agenda dates. I guess that's why I haven't gotten the email from the mailing list. Thanks.

Yes it has been changed but the website has not been updated to reflect that change.

Heard back from Liz Brinkerhoff (secretary to supt) that the meeting was changed to 8/24. She will note the change on the link that @housewo posted .

Fwiw, there is an email list that sends out the agendas and related attachments, usually the Friday before the meeting. While the draft agenda is usually posted online by the day of the meeting, the related attachments (for all the resolutions) are rarely posted online before the start of the meeting.

District email has been down all weekend and I hadn't recd this specific email... Hence my request.

Now that I've confirmed the change in meeting date, I will just wait until this Friday for the link I need. Thanks.

I too thought the meeting was on Monday the 17th and had arranged for a babysitter so I could attend and speak to the board about something. Why wasn't more prior notice given on the meeting schedule change? For a district with long-standing communication problems and a new Superintendent who has pledged to improve communication, this is upsetting.

Looking at the documents, we should finally have an announcement about the new SOMS principal after the meeting.

That's good news for SOMS-- someone (Lynn Irby) will be in place at the start of school.
