Legitimate sites for grants and scholarships?

Would like a few more if anyone knows of some, specifically in the arts.

Thanks!

"Arts" is kind of broad, you might need to distinguish between visual arts and performing arts. And some might require a portfolio or an audition.

Maybe check the admissions and financial aid section of a few arts schools, like Pratt, SVA, RISD, Tyler, SCAD etc. in visual arts for grants other than those given by the institution. This is a little dated, but is on Pratt's site:

@apple44 -- thanks so much! It was helpful. Also received some others that I've been pleased with.

Also try the Foundation Center (foundationcenter.org).

Don't overlook what state schools such as Rutgers can provide for you. Based upon GPA and SAT scores, they offer a presidential scholarship which covers room & board and tuition. It's a great deal, and Rutgers seemingly has every offering imaginable. It was a great choice for our family.
