Last character missing on posts - possible fix

Thought this could use it's own thread with a more specific title. I believe our solution to this issue can be tested here:

To test - you can try typing something like ???? - the error on submit would be ??? - hopefully it will be ????

The hardest part about this issue is that the problem was very sporadic - we couldn't consistently produce the error which makes it extremely difficult to fix.

The issue mainly happened on mobile phones and ipads. My concern with the new solution is that is may not load properly with older browsers.

Here's what the editor should look like:

Oh, but the final period was removed from both posts.

I tried the redactor link, and nothing got redacted there.

So how come the period didn't get redacted in the last post

But the question mark in the one after did?

On the second question, I added a space after the question mark to keep it from going into the black hole.

Like I mentioned - the issue is sporadic. I guess the key thing is to make sure the link I provided works across browsers, not sure if it work on IE9 for instance.

We moved the fix to the live forum - try by adding a comment below.

Sorry, I was out. In the redactor test space, everything was great. Finishing here with a stop.
