Kitchen Cabinet Adjustments

I like my kitchen cabinets, but they all need to be adjusted.  All the hinges need to be replaced.  Any recommendations?

describe a bit more the cabinets. How old are they, do you know the manufacturer, etc?  are they face frame or frameless?

There are so many hinge types that it might be hard to find an exact replacement, but it's not impossible.

Is it just the hinges you want to replace or are you painting the cabinets, too?  I ask because if you're not, it'll be key to find new hinges that use or cover existing holes.
