Jar candles with missing wick

I have a bunch of large jar candles that have plenty of wax left in them, but as they've burned down the wick has disappeared. I hate to just throw them out because they're only half-used...has anyone found a trick for this??

Hair dryer then pour off the wax until it can be lit, then pour off more wax. Or just buy another candle.

Thanks, I'll try that!

I can buy new ones...but the big ones aren't super cheap (usually $10-$15) and it feels so wasteful!

I just went to pull out one with a nice fall scent and I have 3 that are at least half-full.

Or is that just how they get you? grin

Just goes to show that there's a YouTube video(s) for everything:

Perfect!! That is much more clear than the Google results I was finding. It also seems to be the same basic technique as RobB suggested. Yay!
