In the old MOL, there was a discussion where someone mentioned a good Italian restaurant in Westfield. I can't remember the name of the restaurant! I'm not talking about Theresa's (which I really like). Hopefully, someone remembers.
Thanks everyone... Pippi, I actually went to Novita and liked it. But I wanted to try the other one, and I think that is Aquaviva. Has anyone been there? Is it an actual restaurant or just take out?
We've been to Acquaviva several times. It's excellent. It's an actual restaurant. It's gigantic - several rooms. I think it was once a bank. It has a liquor license. Definitely worth a try. You can google "Acquaviva Westfield NJ" and read some reviews.
It is an actual, very elegant restaurant in an old bank building. It is one of my "special dinner" places. They have a nice, varied menu and the service and food are very good. It has a cozy, upscale ambiance.
If you go to Acquaviva before or around 6:00 you probably won't need reservations, but they are always "recommended". I hope you have a lovely evening ---enjoy!
I finally went to Acquaviva last night. Everything was great - the food, the service, there was even live music. Definitely a place to go back to. Thanks again for all the comments!
