It’s Turnover time!

(Didn’t know which category to pick in the Forum. But the event is far from Maplewood Specific!) Thursday night at 7 marks opening night of the 90th year of the Morrow Church Turnover Sale. Called a Turnover because new merchandise is put out for every sale, it’s such a great event. Books, toys, furniture, housewares, jewelry, outdoor items, clothing, holiday, lamps, art, electronics - you name it, all donated by community members and raising funds for community non-profits. If you’ve never been, it’s a blast. There will be a total of seven sales, so if you can’t make it Thursday, you’ve still got six more chances!

Our SUV is packed to bring things over tomorrow.

As the clock counted down to 7 last night for the first sale opening, the entry waiting lines along the sidewalk were long, but no one was disappointed once inside. The donations this year are off the charts. In every department. You’ve gotta check it out!

Items I have if you can come and get them:

6 window unit air conditioners

A futon in good shape

Nightstands and dresser, solid wood

3 or 4 small desks (good for kids and homework more than work from home)

large 70s era desk that has seen better days

filing cabinets

Holla if anything sounds useful

There are a number of bikes for sale. Most are little kids’ bikes.
