It's Panto Time - Come See Last Chance Saloon!

It's time to get your tickets. Come and be a part of the best new tradition in Maplewood - the annual British Pantomime! http://lastchancesaloonpanto.brownpapertickets.com/

This year we're doing a little twist on the classic theme and bringing the panto to America. To the old west in fact. The year is 1865. The town of Lickety Split, Kansas has fallen on bad times, and has been broke for years - owing all their money to a local gang. At the local watering hole, owner Miss Kitty and her bouncer Josie Wales are trying to put together a show to lure interest from the NJT railroad company. They're looking to build a station nearby and Miss Kitty wants Lickety Split to be that stop, but first she has to convince her childhood friend and secret beau Sheriff John "Duke" Morrison to join in on the idea.

However, all bets are off when two strangers walk into town, with a secret mission to find gold in the haunted caves. Can Smith and Jones get the gold and keep it, or will the local gang clean them out, too? Find out in our hilarious Wild West Show unlike any other!

January 8-10 and 15-17 at the Burgdorff Theater!

Get your tickets early to avoid disappointment.

Bring your kids! It's going to be a great show! Proceeds this year will benefiting St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center and Bridges Outreach.

Bumping this because tickets are selling out quickly, as they do every year. Don't be left out in the cold! Even though it's kind of warm out now. In January it might be cold.

Just get your tickets!

Very surprised there aren't more comments on this thread: I'd be announcing how proud I am to have tix were I a) able and b) so lucky! (One year, I promise!!)

Will there be any form of post-performance viewing available this year for we unfortunates who live too far away? I think I'd even pay for stills of Daisy and her friends...  question  smile

We've been looking all around for Daisy, but she dropped her agent, Marty, a few weeks ago and went off the grid. If you see her, let us know.

In the meantime here's an article about our show in The Village Green!

I think we have a videographer for this year, and hopefully it will be available on YouTube after the show. We'll let you know.

Shemademedothis just suggested pinging Daisy's phone... I don't think he quite gets the notion of "off grid", let alone cows with phones...  smile  wink  (He was smirking at the time)

I think Daisy heard it was about Cowboys and decided to hide for a while...

next time you do hear from her or her agent, please let Daisy know about Dr Demento's Cows with Guns.  smile

The first weekend is over and I can safely say that the cat is out of the bag - it's a massive success! Packed houses Friday, Saturday and Sunday! If you were in the audience thank you SO MUCH! Panto relies on audience participation and and you brought it in buckets! We had so much fun with you guys roaring "Howdy!" and "It's behind you!" and stomping your feet at our silly song and dance numbers that we're still buzzing and we can't wait until next weekend to do it all over again!

Haven't seen it yet? What are you waiting for?!?!?!? Get your tickets for the biggest, most fun,  family-friendly show in town at the Burgdorff Center on Durand Rd in beautiful Downtown Maplewood on Friday 15th at 7.30pm, Saturday 16th at 7pm and Sunday 17th at 2pm.
