Mark your calendar for good health
Take advantage of a free opportunity to reduce your risk of health problems. The South Orange Health Department will hold its 9th Annual Free Health Fair on Saturday, Sept. 12th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the South Orange Fire House, located at 56 Sloan Street.


No-cost health screenings will include: spinal analysis, neck massage, glucose and cholesterol counts (Fasting), importance of exercise, blood pressure checks, hearing tests, eye screening, nutritional information, injury prevention, child identification kits, skin cancer education, pediatric dental screening, injury prevention, osteoporosis screening, and lead screening for children 8 months to 6 years old and adults.
Participants can also get information on the Supplemental Nutrition program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC), learn about male and female cancers, become a blood donor (Non-fasting), or chat with members of the South Orange Domestic Violence Response Team, Fire Department, and Rescue Squad.


Kids can enjoy face painting, balloons, magic tricks, and pick up age-appropriate health literature.

Yep! And I just saw the Blood Mobile setup in the back of Lot 9, the parking lot behind Dunkin Donuts.
