I did. They are all on the smaller side, or tie dyed. Not what I had in mind. Plus, the prices...ouch. This cant be hard to do.

OOooo . Oooo....I wish I had a picture of my nephew's house for you. He has a one story ranch and nailed lights in a peace symbol on his roof! Huge! Probably 12' around. All the neighbors loved it so much they requested he keep it up all year round. He does! :bigsmile:

are you talking about the one that has the green ornaments on it? if so, i'd do a foam wreath like this (goes up to 24" in diameter)...

then cut three straight pieces from a board of styrofoam and use skewers to hold everything together.

Oh wow....thanks MR.....either of those two options could work. And yes it was the green with the ornaments at Pier 1. If the mainewreath one was 24 inches across I'd order it right now. thanks much.

what if you wired a ring of ornaments around perimeter? - if each stuck out 2", that would add 4" overall...

So boomie do you want the wreath made out of evergreen or some other material, like christmas balls, ribbon etc?

The floral foam would probably work well, I would use, as Mommyrock suggested, skewers but reinforce the pieces with hot glue.

I really wasn't wanting a wreath per se, with evergreen, I wanted something more along the lines of MR's thing with the foam. I am going to go to Michaels and get the largest foam ring and then find some cool ornaments to decorate it with.

Twine would look cool with maybe some twigs and holly branches to add some depth? I have two small holly bushes in my backyard if you want some I can take some cuttings. You got a hot glue gun? It will be your best friend.

I do have a hot glue gun. Im going to hit Michaels first before I decide what to "stuff" it with...haha. Thanks..I will let you know about the holly.

shhh I was thinking the same thing!!! I got it....and I'm not sure how to make a wreath. I was thinking Id do it in all ornaments...Shop Rite has a huge bucket of really pretty unbreakable ones in varied colors and shapes and glitter for 5.99 but this is more of a wreath form and I dont know how to do this! HELP. I would love to get together to make wreaths.

What about cutting the ornaments in half so you have flat surface to glue-gun them to the wreath form?
