How Crazy Good Was Last Night's Springsteen Show?

Lots of MapSO folks in the house ... Some I ran into. Some I saw were there on social media.

Great show. One for the ages ...

I think I was the only So Orangina NOT at that damn show (according to my FB feed anyway)

I was lucky enough to go to all 3 shows this past week and last night was amazing. Amazing classics with only 3 songs from after 1984....and the longest show ever in the US (4:01). Definitely a "legendary" show that people will talk about for years, like the infamous Birthday show from 2012.

One of the best concerts by Bruce that I have seen and it was my 49th time. It was definitely a setlist for the diehards and fanatics. First 90 minutes were all songs from the early 70's and it was mostly deep cuts in the main set. I purposefully didn't buy GA tix so I could sit but I actually stood for 95% of the four hours. It was a great show even with no Thunder Road. I even hoped he would come out solo after Jersey Girl and sing an acoustic version of TR to definitely make it his longest show. He was really into it last night and actually sang rather than just speaking some of the lyrics like in other shows I have seen in the last few years. Pulling Rosalita into the main set was a good choice and it made for a better version too. I don't know how he does it since he will be 67 next month.

Almost every song in the first 1/2 of the show had the energy of an encore song.

This Billboard review describes the show accurately-

DC had a good show last night too. WIth these great setlists, I was thinking of going again to Philly #2 next Friday but saner thinking says stay home and watch from Periscope.
