It's hot as hell!

Ditto marylago !   Another day of heat tomorrow.  I was supposed to go to an outdoor event and I am re-considering attending because of the heat.

can we outlaw these noisy air conditioner units?  Why I should have to listen to noisy ac units just so some guy can stay cool is beyond me.

I went to my niece's wedding last Saturday. It was a lovely, outdoor affair, but it was the hottest, sweatiest wedding I've ever been to and it wasn't near as hot as it's supposed to be tomorrow. 

I am staying home.  I sweat just thinking about sweating all day tomorrow.  The man who invented A/C is the king !

It's 89° at 11pm. I can't even imagine trying to sleep without air conditioning.

Although, there are those who (probably rightly) claim that AC has contributed greatly to greenhouse gas emissions and by doing so creating a perpetual need for it. I don't know if it was an evil plot to destroy the earth or the greatest marketing scheme ever...

We saw it when we were leaving Target. It was actually very pretty, the lightning was highlighting the layers of clouds, almost like something Bob Ross would paint.

With the lightning I saw and the height of the thunderheads in the distance it must have been some storm.

We're in the Berkshires this week.  It was hot yesterday, but rained like heck overnight and this morning I blessedly need a sweatshirt.

Ahhhh.

Saw that storm in the NW as we headed up the NJT last night. That impressive lightning display (beginning around Exit 8) continued beyond our departure to 78 West...

mjh, thanks for the forecast.  I have a house in the Berkshires and worry about the plants.  Good to know it rained.  It's usually cooler in the evenings there but lately, well...

weather channel reported 87% humidity in Newark at 7:30 this morning 

In other words, a perfect beach day.

This weather is relentless.  It's starting to make me a little crazy.

Yes, sick of it, can't wait to get my electric bill, the AC is almost never off!
