Our own Library Lady had her surgery this morning and begins 6 weeks off her feet today.  Lets send her get well wishes, healing thoughts, amusing anecdotes. - anything to cheer her through recovery and convalescence

It's me !!!! Home in bed

Doc says damage wasn't quite as severe as he expected. Bad but not as bad. Didn't need to take toe tendon

Beck at doc tomorrow for more detail

No pain but have Vicodin if necessary

That sounds quite good, all things considered. I mean, I'm sure you would be happier never to have had the injury, but it's great the damage was less severe than feared. Means a shorter recuperation!
