Happy Easter..................{western}
We'll get to the Orthodox version in a month or so...
Happy Easter, the tree across the street is celebrating with beautiful bright pink blossoms!
Happy Easter!
(Orthodox Easter is very late this year--May 1st.)
I love this: At only a little over 3 inches square, this tiny picture is the earliest portrayal of the Easter rabbit known in American art! Find out more about it in the Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg's online collections! http://bit.ly/1UU2mx6
Happy Easter!! Thanks marylago for the great folk art, perhaps first, U S Easter bunny.

About every 4 years the dates coincide
Makes this easier in a mixed family such as mine
R.C. significant other and Episcopalian daughter and grandsons..........palikaris in Greek...........brave
young warriors
Of course in Biblical times they were a bit busy to think of my convenience

I think that they are most often one week apart, i.e. tied to the same full moon but with a different "formula" for determining the date. But this year they seem to be tied to separate full moons also.
Good morning and Happy Easter!
