[I took the liberty of borrowing what I wrote one year ago and the year before that too! - the only person allowed to be offended is the birthday boy himself. But since I am not the prolific writer that you are sir, what I wrote was pretty good and that is just that.]
I debated whether to place this in Sports, where your admiring readers mostly reside. But I figured that even only Sports fans need to venture out a bit into cafes, albeit Virtual ones. Happy Birthday to a great Mets fan, a fine specimen of an educated baseball fan who writes well and cares about the game and probably a pretty decent person too. LET'S GO METS! (And any other teams you as an avid, adoring and educated fan roots for.)
