hair salon recommendation

My daughter wants to get an updo for prom (she has VERY long hair), but Chelsea Set and Anthony Garubo are closed on Mondays. Can someone recommend a nearby salon and/or hairstylist for this? I don't want to blindly take her to a random place I have no idea about. Thanks

Fringe is open (and that's where my other daughter is going this year) but they only have several stylists available. Still worth a call. 

A few years ago I made a last minute appt for prom at Blo Lounge in Livingston and they did a fantastic job. Not cheap but the updo was beautiful, fresh, not stiff looking. 

Some of the other local places may open specifically for prom up dos. If you have a place you go to regularly I'd call and ask.

I go to Imana in Nutley. Amy, the owner, did an amazing job on my wedding hair.

When my kids were prom-age, I recall that many of the salons in town did open up on that Monday for just this reason.  Definitely ask about it at your favorite salon(s) and make sure you let them know that it is for the CHS prom. 

^^^Different (nearby) high school, same Monday prom, same salon experience. They may only be booking prom appointments.
