Gutter cleaning recommendations? archived

Does anyone know what's happened to Jersey Glass and Gutters (Scott)? They've been cleaning our gutters for years - can't get a response from phone messages left. Also tried an MOL sponsor -- didn't show, and never called. Any other suggestions, other than Ned Stevens?

Precision Gutter. Got the reco from MOL and they were wonderful! And, only $75.

Thank you all for your suggestions! Nothing wrong with Ned Stevens -- used them for a few years, but always felt like it was almost a drive-by cleaning (we've got LOTS of oaks on our small property -- takes more time than some other houses to get the gutters clean, although the house is small). It's also that I like to use local folks, so I get the same people every time and not the employee-of-the-moment. Just feel that smaller companies have more of an interest in customer service and continuity.

Just had Nick Kosh/Greg Dudonis here today. They're really nice guys, always. I feel they do a good job on cleaning and flushing the gutters, then spend the time to rake up stuff from the lawn, sweep the walks, drive, porch, etc.

After the snows, will have them back to do some gutter repairs.

Gutter guys in general seem to be short of hacks at there job.... I had a problem with one gutter and had nick kosh out about 3x.... Didn't really fix what was a simple problem....then had anthony forino out who recommended I replace the gutter with new fascia board... Not wanting to deal with the problem any more I did so... Of course in the process he screwed up my soffit vents and put up an unprimed piece of fascia board. I looked at the fascia board that was taken down and perhaps 1 to 2 feet needed some repair.... So next gutter guy I had come finally fixes the problem...Diego from xtreme seasons llc. 9083378176. Worst part is he quote me a price to replace all my gutters for what I paid a forino

Scott is still cleaning gutters with Jersey Glass and Gutters. He's our neighbor. Do you have a number for him?

Do a search on gutter recommends - this topic comes up almost monthly.
We've been using Ted's Gutters for 4 years. No complaints at all. He also does minor repairs and is very reasonable.

dsasfal -- Yes, I do. Got his machine and left 3 different messages over a week last month. Never got an answer. Maybe it's his machine, but.... He's always been good about coming, although sometimes too busy to respond same day. Never heard anything from him since. Some years he even calls me. Not this time either. I had to assume he wasn't interested enough to have someone, anyone, return my calls. I'm sure there's another story, and I wish him well. Just not my way of conducting business with a prompt-paying, repeat customer.
