Great July 4th despite the rain

Kudos to the July 4th Committee that organizes the celebrations.

The expanded secure zone, relocated entrance, and expanded food and entertainment options were really great. The community feeling is wonderful. Our family enjoyed the evening right up until the sky opened up.

I am always struck by how many logistics must go into planning that day.  I for one truly appreciate what I have to imagine is a tremendous amount of planning required to put together such a great event.

To all involved thank you very much.

We're looking forward to tonight's fireworks.

After a day of fun activities, starting with the parade in the early morning, my kids quickly fell asleep last night -- even with the other towns' fireworks going off.
