Good Architect?

Any recommendation on a good Architect?

You might get better response by providing a bit more detail on your needs. There are many excellent residential architects in the area - Clawson Architects, John James, Majewski/Jones, Gelman Archutecture, etc.

Dave Spence at http://www.windigodesign.com/. Dave is a build design architect and will stay with you through the whole process, approving work as necessary or working with the contractor to change work as necessary. He did a terrific job with our attic renovation when we stated our concerns were light and maintaining a silhouette to the house that looked original (i.e. don't hang a big shed dormer off the back of the house).

I have heard good things about Marvin and Renee Clawson but have never worked with them. http://www.clawsonarchitects.com/

Expect to pay between 5K to 10K for an architect's services.

(For example, I'm married to a good architect, but he doesn't do local/residential work... not even for me very often )
