Any chance that's doctored?  He/she is SO big that he/she looks unreal.

A couple of golfers lost their balls... because of the beast.

Is it a Nile croc? They have been found in Florida recently and they are much larger and seem to have a taste for human.

Holy crap. 

I remember playing a round on Hilton Head and hitting a ball over the top of a hill... came down and rested right up against one sunning himself next to the creek cutting across the fairway.  I took a no-penalty drop on the OTHER side of the creek.  Quickly. 

I do recall the course guys saying that they remove them when they get over a certain length... can't recall how long (8 feet?), but it WAY less than 15 feet.

When I lived in Charleston the closest I ever came to a motorcycle accident was when a 7 foot gator walked out in front of me.  

I saw a smallish one while visiting a park in Florida and that made me leave much quicker than planned.

I think it's fake.
