Getting PO Out of FB Feed

Any ideas? I am really put off by local special interest using my feed to offer up hyperbole and conspiracy theories. As are likely many. Have an argument to make? Bring your A game. Not some manipulative fear play.
Perhaps I turn off my locale. Wondering if anyone has dealt with this successfully.

Agree. Remove bookmarks for any groups you belong to/pages you may have liked where this discussion is prevalent. Avoid posting anything to any open group/page where the subject is likely to come up. Temporarily block any facebook friends who are caught up in the issue and post about it frequently. Use scroll bar to navigate away from any sponsored posts on this subject. If this doesn't work or seems like too much trouble, just stay away from facebook for awhile.

They appear every time I open FB in sponsored ads. I don't try to block tOurhem. I click on them . If they are paying much he click on Happy to waste their money.
