I was in Livingston Mall yesterday and was walking through the food court to see what was new, and there's a Mediterranean Food thing there (sorry, don't know the name). I got a falafel sandwich, baba ganouj and humous.
The baba ganouj was good, but a bit smoky for my taste. Regardless, I ate it up pretty easily. But the falafel was great. I think the pitas were homemade. Much thinner than the typical pita you come across. Just a delicious little bite that you wouldn't expect from a food court. Recommended.
Has Mia Famiglia reopened? I've gone south for the winter or I would check in person.
Smartfood, man that takes me back. I remember when I was in college that was new and like the coolest snack food, circa 1989-90.
Speaking of chips, I found these at the Indian grocery store on Rt 10. Very tasty!!

I just threw up a little in my mouth but I'm not sure which soda label did it.
Startling simple but perfectly balanced from a salt, crunch and everything-spice (basically garlic and onion) ratio perspective, these have become my go-to savory snack food.
The writer is an absolute genius, deciding in the end to mix Buffalo Wing Soda with Cool Ranch Soda.

Ok, I didn’t see the ranch dressing soda in the store, but that review was fantastic!

Smartfood Popcorn - Parmesan Garlic flavored
Is really good. The flavors are subtle - they don't smash you in the face, as is possible with parmesan and garlic. Too addictive though. Be careful. Available at ShopRite.
