It looks like the SoMa Adult School has a First Aid class. Maybe you could ask them if your daughter could attend. My daughter took the American Red Cross babysitting class through the South Mountain Y which includes First Aid, but that's for ages 11 to 15.
check with red cross..at one point they had a minimum wage recommendation--might have been 13, but since you are taking the class too, they might make an exception. I do remember there were some younger kids in the class at that time that they commented were younger than they usually recommend..so they do make exceptions.

I am looking for some sort of basic First Aid class that I can take with my nine year old daughter. She found an old Boy Scouts First Aid Merit Badge pamphlet and read it cover to cover but she wants some practical instruction. Any suggestions?
