Fallout Shelter

What with Trump slinging cruise missiles and sending warships to the Korean Peninsula, this ad for the "Fallout Shelter" game seems very timely.

During my early college years, the superintendent of my building asked me to help him with his Civil Defense/fallout shelter duties. We attended meetings in down town Newark and then moved around barrels of water and supplies in our designate shelter area.

Well my super was no PHD but he realized that the only one who would benefit from that shelter was the mice in basement. So we did the minimum to satisfy some requirement. Never ventured down there again. He did his job and I contacted the only student group that was then in the Ban the Bomb mode.
