Have you heard how boring those meetings are? I was on the fence, but now Eastman definitely has my vote.

While Mr. Eastman will never get my vote, this comment is simply unbelievable. This volunteers work all day and continue long into the night. Thanks to them for that.

He works so hard [volunteering his time and expertise) that it's no surprise he might sometimes succumb to exhaustion.
This post isn't suspicious at all. Someone creates a new user name a week before the election specifically to make a personal attack about what "video shows" with no link to any video or dates of any of these BOE meetings. So ida, which candidate or campaign manager asked you to post this?
If you took everyone in SOMA who never once fell asleep during a meeting, church service, speech, event, etc., they could fit in a Smart car.
BOE members have to sit through some mind-numbing stuff. I imagine I would be nodding-off come midnight or so.
I do wish, however, that the minutes from the last few meetings would be posted.

Since the meetings are televised and recorded, it shouldn't be hard to provide the video or at least the meeting dates, but they haven't.
Fair game? What does that mean? It should be pointed out that someone fell asleep during a meeting? Why?

To refuse to see the irrelevance is partisan. To post such a guttural piece of trash anonymously is the epitome of cowardice.
Let's assume the claim is true. How is it irrelevant? The topics were important. The leader of the board should be awake.
If the speaker of the House fell asleep during a discussion about the debt ceiling, it would be news.
As for anonymity, that is a hallmark of online discussions. For better and worse.

I might add that, more than anyone else, the prez of the school board controls the tempo and length of meetings.
High School was a long time ago, but I also believe the Speaker can temporarily hand the gavel to a colleague and duck out for nap/meal/toilet.
