Create a Moment

I spent this weekend with my friend at the Jersey Shore. Here's my attempt to recreate a moment:

The sun was hot on my skin and the breeze was cool as it lifted my hair. I walked across the searing black and brown sand, scanning for a place to drop my chair and towel. Once settled among the multitude of candy-colored beach umbrellas, I strode out across the wet sand of low tide to the crisp, cool green ocean. The waves curled at their tops in frothy foam as they slammed into my legs. I dodged preteen children careening on boogie boards and dove head first into a large swell. Silence. Cold, refreshing salt water enveloped me before I lifted my head above the surface. Laying on my back, I floated and was gently lifted with each new wave that rolled in to shore. I gazed up. The sky was a deep, clear blue. The clouds beckoned me to find dolphins, ships, and magical creatures in the bright white masses.

Anyone want to play? What singular summer moment lingers?
