While trying to find out the movie theater property for sale - I came across the following 2 properties for sale that I found interesting.

Since Dunkin Donuts moved across the street - the old building has been vacant - it's on the market for $1.8 million.

Love how they just cut out the grey sky and replaced it with a sunny day, it looks like they used scissors.

that used to be a limousine company before the psychic went in there…she couldn’t foretell the terrible decision of moving from Springfield and Boyden to millburn avenue?

it was the official for a limousine company. Before that I don’t remember, maybe jersey jack can fill us in.

I don't recall on that one. 

If I were a potential buyer, I would worry about mold and flood. Money is also going into the building next to it.

I was just thinking about a section of retail that was where the Labcorp building is, next to the gas station. There were three pizza parlors within, say 200 feet of each other. Joe's, (Still standing), King of Pizza, (Gone) and one at the gas station site. That was in the early '50's.

The great thing about the third one, was Frank. He was about 12 years old and he would pick up a mound of dough, spread it out and then spin it over his head. You don't see that in pizza places anymore.

Frank, later opened the Cenury 21 real estate store on Irvington Avenue. He passed away several years ago.

Exactly. That lot is a flood zone. I've been wondering what would make sense there.  Only $80k provides some possibilities.  Maybe long-term parking for residents or a business.

I would assume that the only reasonable buyer for that sliver of land would be the aging medical office next door, so that they can eventually sell the combined property for redevelopment, perhaps into something that is primarily parking on the ground floor, and thus more flood tolerant. 


Asking $80k is not the same as getting $80k.
