Comment count off by one?

I see the "Clarence Thomas..." thread in Politics claims to have one more comment than it actually does. I'm guessing that bug isn't specific to that thread, just apparent given it's a new one with few comments. Perhaps after I post here, this thread will show the same.

Hmm, this thread's comment count seems accurate. Maybe the bug is specific to the politics section, or there really is something specific to that thread?
