College Works Painting?

That's how Rutgers Painting got started.  Guess they are following the model.  

Run far from CollegeWorks. They ruined our kitchen and living room last year.  Inexperienced foreman, inexperienced painters. Sloppy.  no prep   Painted over scotch tape and dirt.  Disaster.   Reported them to BBB.  Thank heavens I paid with a credit card and disputed and won  

I guess I was lucky I gave up after they never kept a single one of their appointments...

They painted my neighbor's house and although the end result looks fine, the process took longer than it should have and they used the back of their garage/yard (which backs up to my fence) as a toilet . . . 

I couldn't recommend them. Maybe if you had a simple house that was already in good shape and just needed a fresh coat of paint, they would be fine. We used them last summer after the manager stopped by and offered her services to my husband. (I hope the back of my garage doesn't back up to cupoftea's fence. We told them to use our bathroom.) The house looks fine but- It took much longer than they said it would, they had a hard time keeping workers and they did not consistently do the prep work they claimed they would. Plus once they left, we found sprayed paint on our van, inside my daughter's room: her shoes, comforter etc. The manager was a lovely girl but didn't have much leverage to control her workers and ended up doing clean up herself with her little brother. it's not like Rutger's Painting, which when we used them years ago, did a great job. College works is a national company that claims to be giving college students a chance to build resumes and develop managerial skills, which it may for the managers who are college students, but the painters are not paid well and they are not necessarily also college students as the company claims.
