Among other things, I got my son, the engineer, one of those floating digital boomerang thingies. And a wax Buddha for the ex.
You?
is that the floating ball thing?
I got one for my brother last year, and at the same time I got one from my nephew.
I'm getting my nephew this t-shirt this year

Yes, the floating ball thing. Looks lame to me but my son has a degree in aerospace engineering so I thought he might get a kick out of it. I'll report back on Boxing Day.
Thanks, db, maybe now i'll have a fun gift. Otherwise getting desperate.
Enjoy, all!
Do not get this. Looked fun on some videos I saw and I got a couple for kids on my list, but I tried it out and it's really quite lame. I expect eye rolls rather than startlement.

The spider box? Looks lame to me. Although I once bought my mother a small metal box, looked like a small file box for 3x5 cards. When you opened it, a recording of wild applause played. Dumb, yes? She looooved it.

This 7 year old has had a subscription to PJ Library since birth.
I saw this game online called Ouisi and wondered if anyone had purchased it. I'm intrigued because it is a visual game and I spend most of my day working on images.
Anyone hear of it? Looks like a cool little holiday gift! Growing up holidays meant playing Monopoly, years later Password and later yet Trivial Pursuit.
