Broadway 2 for 1 ticket week

It is Broadway week; so 2 for 1 tickets.  I wanted Lion King, but sold out. I tried the $20 per ticket upgrade and did not find any weekend ones.
I could not find the code on the site but looked it up and it is; BWAYWK ; Upgrade code is BWAYUP .

I tried to get tix for The King and I, but the "best" seats available were way off to the side, and even those were $100 each.

So glad to have FINALLY scored reasonably priced tickets for Beautiful, on the day before my birthday!  Yay.  Last year's promise is honored and the college kid wants to pay for it.  How sweet it is!

I was all excited, finally bought two to the Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime. Then I found out my daughter has a concert that night, so I put an ad on MOL to sell them, if anyone is interested. I have since bought another pair, which kind of defeats the two for one. Thanks, anyhow, for posting the thread. Otherwise, I'd have missed it again this year.

When does this promotion start each year?  I always seem to hear about it after many of the good deals are already gone, so I want to put a tickler into my computer NOW for next year.

Note that some of the plays offered are sometimes also available at very good prices through TDF.

Are those shows in the first links the only ones offering two for one?

Yes there are quite a few but not as many as last year.  There are still bump up tickets not two fers for Lion King
