Best site for concert tix?

I haven't purchased music concert tickets in over 20 years - what's/where's the best and secure place to buy them these days? tx

Quick-answer: Ticketmaster or StubHub.

Longer answer: Wherever tickets are available for the event (which is usually Ticketmaster). If tickets are sold out, or I'd like better seats I buy from StubHub. One thing that has changed since the good old days is that buying tickets firsthand is a much bigger pain than it used to be. There are so many pre-sales for bigger events that getting decent seats that way is often impossible for people that have jobs and kids and lives. Fortunately, that also means we're not going to shows much anyway, so when you do you can probably just spring a little extra for tickets via resale. Resale prices will vary over time depending on demand, so if there's an event you're not sure about you can keep an eye on prices and see if they go down. Unless it's Hamilton, you might get lucky.

Friend actually got lucky for Hamilton, but I wouldn't count on it.

Don't be tempted to buy from scalpers. Too many of them are frauds these days. Just happened to someone I know -- tix were counterfeit.
